Pros
-Can make really good money at times -Cool coworkers
Cons
- Massive favoritism (believe all the reviews) your schedule, sections and assistance from management all depends how how much you suck up to them -food is so-so. They claim to be super sustainable and fresh but I’ve never worked in a place that does not care about waste as much as this place does. Also, please just use salt in the Mac and cheese. It tastes like watery noodles. - the uniforms are absolutely horrible. A blue striped polyester button down with a Heavy vest and white apron that they demand you keep Pristine at all times while serving tomato based sauces and butter? Umm ok? I feel like a train conductor that’s going to pass out because temps reach upwards of 100 degrees. -Double standards- as servers we are supposed to provide a “world class” experience without the tools necessary to deliver. Hardly any support from management or your “bussers”, most times we don’t even have items to provide basic services like having proper French presses or soy sauce for sushi. I feel like most of my time is spent running around trying to find the proper markings and clearing a 6 top with no help instead of being able to provide proper service. -They will try to make you “drink the koolaid” during training with their guiding philosophies and odd verbiage like “crew member” instead of staff and “home office” instead of corporate because they want you to believe that it is a family owned business and that they care. But they don’t. It’s all a bunch of bologna.
