I interviewed at Water Grill (Denver, CO) in Feb 2023
Interview
Interviewed for a PM server role and was offered and turned down an AM bartending role. They were polite when I declined, but the role should have been properly identified when I applied initially.
Water Grill conducts very thorough interviews. Many relevant topics were discussed, specifically focusing on wine and seafood knowledge. Though Water Grill will provide extensive training on steps of service, wine, and seafood, a base knowledge of these topics is definitely required to get through the interview process.

Question 1
Are you experienced and comfortable providing wine service?
I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Water Grill (San Diego, CA) in Sept 2021
Interview
Interview process was great and straight forward. They want to see your problem-solving skills and they give you some menu items and ask what you would pair with it, so wine, beer, and cocktail knowledge are a must. There was an interview with a manager, and then second interview was with the GM. Only down side is that I waited over an hour past my scheduled interview time before someone sat down with me.
