Pros

Some of the projects are interesting and challenging. Work/life balance is very good. Some co-workers are great and share experience and knowledge. Benefits are good. Nice, comfortable office when you need to be onsite.

Cons

If you're thinking about joining Watchdog Project Management, my advice is simple: don't leave your current job for it. I made that mistake, and it became clear after the first year that the company doesn't provide the stable work environment it promises and certainly doesn’t prioritize its people. Despite the emphasis on culture, I saw no real effort to support or retain employees. My experience was that the company talks a lot about culture, but there's only superficial follow through and no real attempt at creating a supportive or respectful environment from management. The company loves to promote its "fun" events like Top Golf outings, but the reality is much different. These events are just for show, designed to distract from the real issues employees face on a daily basis. There’s a glaring lack of genuine team-building efforts, no meaningful feedback processes, and certainly no initiatives for growth or employee retention or stability. It’s all about quick, easy wins that make the company look good from the outside, but once you scratch the surface, it’s clear that the workplace culture is fractured and unstable. The flashy events are a band-aid, hiding the deeper dysfunction that employees experience in their day-to-day work lives. The promises made during my hiring process regarding growth, and development, utilization of my experience and skills and future goals were not delivered. Leadership lacks transparency and doesn't seem to care about long-term employee development. The only secure group is a cliques handful dynamic that runs the company, making it hard to feel included or valued unless you're part of that crowd.
