Pros
Starting salary is competitive with comparable entry level jobs, PTO and paid holidays, health insurance, license reimbursement and CEU allowance. Great rehab team of PT, PTA, ATC , and Ex Phys. Unique setting to learn how to apply therapy techniques in a non traditional setting with neuro injuries. This job will test your creativity and allow you to develop as a rehab professional. Very client centered which is rare in medical industry.
Cons
Minimal pay raises (was employed 5+ years), no opportunity for career advancement as it is a small family owned/operated company and advancement structure is non existent. Ownership/management are not medical professionals (no medical background) and will make decisions that favor business success/appearance over listening to concerns of their experienced medical staff. Ownership will often micromanage many aspects of rehab, to a point of questioning clinician treatment decisions.
