Pros
It's easy work. Basically a stock person who happens to print pictures. Most of the time I cover the breaks around the store even though management knows that I have paperwork and maintenance to do in my lab. Gone are the days of your own merchandising and decorating the lab.
Cons
People from outside the company with the same education level have a better chance at becoming managers. U was recently told that after I complete my degree I have to move first to the newly created STL (Store Team Lead) position before I can go up to an assistant manager. This is discouraging especially after all the time and money I have spent on school. For me after so many years with the company, it would only be a 1-2 dollar raise with all the duties of a manager anyways.
