Pros
-A pro for an employee could be that constant delegation (read: avoiding work) by managerial staff will allow you to earn the experience necessary to get a better job/pay...with a different company. -A pro if you're a HS grad who is not looking to go to college. stick it out for a decade or two, and you can guarantee job security, schedule flexibility, decent benefits. -if you're a store manager with 15+ years with the company, you can stop worrying about performing. -if you're a woman who knows how to flirt a little, there's plenty of leniency
Cons
-favoritism (let your imagination fill in the gaps here) -lack of opportunities/promotions (even assistant managers could verify that the only clear way to get promoted was to switch stores/ regions/ companies). -Managerial staff inept at handling schedules, promotions, and even customer complaints. -pervert/creepy managers looking to advance their collection of NSFW photos against company rules/regulations. -if you're male, then expect to be forced to handle all stocking/loading/unloading/replenishing for all departments in addition to your own duties (more an issue of favoritism and not gender inequality).
