Cons

⚠️ Cons of Working at Waldom Electronics 1. Pace Can Be Fast and Demanding The company's growth and evolving initiatives require agility—those who prefer a slow, steady pace may feel overwhelmed at times. Priorities can shift quickly as the business adapts to market and partner needs. 2. Limited Brand Awareness in the Industry While Waldom plays a key role in the supply chain, it's not always widely recognized outside the industry or among newer professionals—this can affect external perceptions or recruiting. 3. Cross-Department Communication Can Be Challenging Like many growing global organizations, occasional silos exist; alignment between teams and time zones can be tricky without proactive coordination. 4. Lean Teams = More Responsibility Some departments run lean by design, which means employees may wear multiple hats or stretch beyond their core role—great for learning, but potentially tiring. 5. Not a Fit for Passive Contributors Waldom thrives on initiative and accountability—employees who need constant direction or prefer to stay in a narrow lane may struggle. 6. Global Complexity Working across EMEA, Americas, and Asia means navigating time zones, cultural nuances, and compliance standards—rewarding, but not without friction. 7. Evolving Processes As the company scales, some systems and SOPs are still maturing—there’s opportunity for improvement, but also occasional ambiguity.

Pros

Good work culture. Great work life balance. People are really helpful. Got a lot of support when relocating to Rockford. It is a small but global company. Great place if looking to have impact on ESG and passionate about Supply Chain. Innovative business strategy. People are really motivated and the business is growing with a steady pace. Lots of opportunities for data and analytical skills. Really supportive and flexible manager.

Cons

Entire tech team is based in Amsterdam. But everyone is really helpful and responsive. Lots of autonomy. Has to navigate ambuigity and wear many hats. However, these experiences are really great in early career growth.
