Absolutely horrible company to work for - Network Engineer Voneus Employee Review

Oh, gosh, where do I start? Probably the absolutely toxic atmosphere, and I worked from home! The company I worked for was acquired by Voneus, and after three and a half years of loving my job, I went to hating it almost overnight. The management particularly the senior managers have absolutely no clue whatsoever in how to treat other human beings. The management are plain rude, and talk to you like children in a playground. Putting people in the spot in Teams meeting then lording it over them is a regular favourite. There is zero respect, you are not allowed to think for yourself, and constant threats of disciplinary action should you do anything outside of set down procedures - which is fair enough, IF they have been explained to you in the required depth and you've had chance to learn them.... instead, "training" is a case of "here it is, get on with it" Most of the less senior staff seem decent enough, but there are also a lot of brown nosers who are so far up managements backsides trying to make a name for themselves, and generally failing. Mental health is through the floor in a lot of the team, but, bring that up with management and tell them you are suffering, and you're pretty much told to man up and get on with it, not in so many words of course. The amount of process and red tape is borderline insane!! How any company can possibly support their customers when they need to have a meeting about everything is beyond me...... as an analogy, iamagine customers with no connection are on fire...... so, they have a meeting about it. IN that meeting they decide to send a fire engine, BUT, they need to arrange another meeting to decide what kind of fire engine to send....... then, they need another meeting to decide what colour it should be, and then, probably another to decide who should drive it............ when the customers houses finally burn down, they act all surprised then, guess what....... they have a meeting to find out why they burned down..... Very little room for progression, unless you are a really, really good brown noser. I honestly could go on and on........ and as for the "Gamechangers" rubbish........ they couldn't change a lightbulb between them all.
