Pros

Lots of good clinicians. Some great supervisors.

Cons

Poor treatment of staff, very top heavy company with too many managers for departments that don’t seem necessary. Too large of a territory to cover & not enough staff to cover those large areas, patients get short shrifted with not being able to get true interdisciplinary conferencing from their clinicians because of the distance & being on more than one team due to the large coverage area. Not all specialty services are offered when they should be - like Speech Therapy or Psych services because admin is unrealistic with territory. Poor effort in recruiting behavior psych nurse, though other Home Health agencies have them.

Pros

The mission is meaningful and impactful for the local community

Cons

CEO is running the organization into the ground. They allow terrible behavior from other leaders, including verbal abuse. She consistently lies to the board to make herself and the organization look better than it actually is. Certain departments are allowed to bleed money, but when you need even a tiny resource, she rejects it. Expectations are too high for a normal work week. The benefits are so bad you have to call every doctors office before you go to fight for coverage. It’s a plan they chose so they didn’t have to spend much on employee health insurance. Wild that a healthcare organization would have poor health benefits. People are allowed to do whatever they want, but when the my team does anything wrong it’s the end of the world.
