Pros

The manager is super friendly and approachable, always willing to help out! Can have a laugh with the team so even though the job is fast paced you'll always enjoy working there. The pay is decent and above minimum wage with Sunday premium pay. It is easy to request holidays and a lot of the time they are granted as the team work together to cover each other's shifts if needed. Optical Assistants can always advance from bronze to silver to gold with training days which also increase your pay.

Cons

The only exception to this team is one passive aggressive and condescending Optometrist; he is selective with who he is friendly to. Other Vision Express branches don't have the nicest staff, specifically the Cardiff City Centre branch. There is also a woman named Kirsty (her role is still unknown to me) who swans in occasionally to "fix" things; her attitude stinks and she can be quite intimidating for no reason.
