Pros
The culture at Virgin is very open and friendly. We were encouraged to walk around the shop floor during breaks and ask people to explain what they were working on, an interaction that almost always led to an excited conversation about various parts of the system and the manufacturing and testing equipment. The culture was also very relaxed, making it easier to make friends and enjoy being in the office. The work was also meaningful. While some interns weren't given projects on the rocket itself, everyone was doing something that would very visibly benefit the company.
Cons
Most of the interns had to push pretty hard to get feedback about our performance, and when we did get it, it was often a token "you're doing a good job", instead of useful tips.
