Pros
- Great atmosphere - Staff and peers are awesome and it feels like a family - Free gym membership for you + 1 friend - Discount scheme called "TRIBE" - Training and further education courses paid for (there's a catch)
Cons
- Long hours (usually 2 or more hours longer than your shift) - Awful, awful pay (Virgin pays most staff and duty managers minimum wage) - No bonuses (only Tribe "discounts") - If you take up training through the company, you are locked to them for 1 year or you pay it all back in full if you leave. - Most courses are "Virgin" courses, so are not recognised by other clubs/gyms - You WILL work every weekend (almost guaranteed) which leaves you with no life outside the gym
