Working in a good team provided some consolation and padding against management's horrible attitude.
Cons
Hiring of interns and forcing overstretching contracts on them. Paying a pittance. Treating them badly. Forcing tribunals if they ask to leave because they need to earn more money to pay their bills. Never receiving pay increases. So techs are stuck, earning almost nothing, and are unable to leave due to being threatened with lawsuits. Employees who made even small infractions were called into "the office" and the Big Man would rage and shout and threaten them so the whole office could hear through the glass.
