Pros
Company culture is fantastic. It's greatly improved over the past few years. Everyone is really respectful of work-life balance and the PTO policy is generous. Ideas are easily received and work is stimulating. Also, the new senior leadership team is doing a great job. It finally feels like there's some real potential for industry growth.
Cons
It's nerve-wrecking to ask for a raise. There is constant conversation about low sales, which makes it really difficult to ask for a raise. On one hand, you feel like it's useless asking because there's no cash to pay you. On the other hand, it feels like even if you do get a raise, you'll be placed higher up on the list of people to lay off when things get really tight. Funny enough, it feels like the most money is spent on the Sales/Bus Dev team. Then again, this isn't that big of a con to make anyone not want to work there... my pay is not bad by any definition. But the anxiety is there.
