Pros
Laid back environment. Great people (unfortunately a lot of them are leaving, though).
Cons
I’ve been a Vibes employee for sometime, and this used to be a great place to work. I used to love coming in and working on fun & innovative solutions. Now, things have changed drastically. There isn’t any communication from managers to upper management. Scopes, requirements, and deliverables get lost along the way and you end up working extensively to fix the mistakes your managers make and/or fail to communicate. The company is completely behind on technology. Vibes calls themselves a SaaS company, but has no idea what that means. The codebase is outdated, the platforms UI/UX is horrible and all the great people at Vibes are leaving. There isn’t any room to grow, managers don’t set KPI’s, and managers don’t manage. HR is always talking about the core values but does not enforce those values on leadership or management. Salaries are significantly under market value. This is justified by HR overselling the fact you can wear jeans to work, work from home, and there’s beer on site. Every other tech company has these same “benefits” and pays market value.
