Pros
The overall vision and mission to improve the lives of vulnerable people suffering from malaria and other diseases is inspiring. If you have the opportunity to travel, you will meet a lot of amazing people in the malaria world. The job is relatively flexible with the working hours, though most people at the Swiss office do not work early hours (very few people start before 9 am).
Cons
Few opportunities for mobility and while there is a cost of living adjustment, there have been no salary increases (I've been an employee for nearly 4 years. Many other employees that are not in the executive management report no changes to salary). The leadership team lacks leadership qualities and is misaligned. They don't make the time talk to about internal issues nor do they resolve issues together. Many employees are unhappy at this moment in time and every year since I've joined, 2-3 people have quit (in the Swiss office which has less than 25 people). Business processes are a mess and unclear.
