Pros

Since having my first child in 2023, Verve have been incredibly supportive with both my enhanced maternity pay (6 months full pay), and the phasing back to the office. They are really flexible, allowing me to work what hours I wish and if i have chosen to increase, decrease or change my hours at any period they've always approved this. This made coming back to work painless and easy, which is just what i needed at the time. They are extremely wellbeing focused and the office is a thriving collaborative environment. That being said, they also support hybrid working meaning we don't have to be in the office daily, which is great for people like me who live that bit further away.

Cons

Glass door will not let me submit without putting a negative, but the only negative for me is that i wish there were some more creative roles at the firm, however this is out of their control due to the industry / company requirements, and is more personal to me and my career wishes.

Pros

Verve is a dynamic place to work, with several services and different departments. The central management take the time to ensure staff are aware of the vision and direction of the business with regular updates, plus a specific company day dedicated to this at the start of the year. Verve is focused on maintaining employee welfare and listens to staff needs.

Cons

Due to the dynamic nature of the company, employees will have to be comfortable adapting to this. Part of the industry we operate in!

Pros

Verve is such a great place to work - no more Sunday scaries! I genuinely love my job here, and it really feels like everyone else does too, which makes it such a positive environment to be in. People are really passionate about what they do here. The benefits are amazing, from loads of wellbeing sessions you can get involved in, to company parties and hybrid working. You also don’t need to come from a finance background to work here.

Cons

Whilst we have hybrid working, sometimes I think the flexi hours window could be a bit more flexi but that's a really minor thing!
