Pros
Supportive co-workers and a cooperative environment. Innovation and stability, as well as a large presence in a number of fields; wireless, phone, data, corporate and government. If there's something new, we'll be working with it. A feeling that though phone is dying, wireless is doing great and we're moving into delivery area (FIOS) ahead of competition.
Cons
Unsupportive or difficult and unproductive workers seem to be able to camp out and collect pay with no repercussions. Their workload is shifted to other employees who are untrained in that area, or already overworked. Training is infrequent. Little opportunity to advance unless you leave or devote serious personal time to learning new skills. Some promotions occur but appear based more on friendships and politics than skills or abilities.
