Sadly this is a highly gossipy environment (mostly by senior management) and its not always done in private. If you share ANYthing with HR, it will be shared and discussed with the entire executive team (including personal matters). Favoritism is rampant and discriminatory. If you are a high performer, you will likely burn out because they expect more and more from you with the promise that you are "this close" to a promotion that never happens. Morale is very low and getting worse, not better. Know that when employees leave, they are quick to say *expletive* 'em! Literally, that is what they say and it's their attitude and its the culture.
