Pros
Small company that is very strong in the niche they operate. Seem to be very well connected and was given active accounts after my introduction period.
Different culture than other agencies I've worked for in that VMG is very sales oriented, in that they they push the small team to constantly be studying and learning about their particular vertical market so when they talk to clients and candidates they aren't the usual "recruiter". Huge emphasis on this. They also place an emphasis on studying metrics which is different than the other agency I've worked for.
The Managing Partner has an obvious passion for what he does as well the niche space VMG plays, and it's infectious to people that may not know much about technology.
All in all, for what some call a "boutique" headhunting firm, it was a great experience. Definitely would recommend to a higher level, consultative sales person coming into recruiting, but maybe not for a typical recruiter.

Small firm, so no benefits offered, but that was expected.
