While the going was good it was a good platform to build a teaching practice from with many useful integrated tools for tutors.
Cons
After building up a teaching practice over 2-3 years and establishing good rapport with my students, building reviews and a high rating... they locked me and all teachers in my country out of the platform. Meanwhile they refunded purchased packages to our clients and encouraged them to find another one of their teachers. They may have had their reasons but this was the biggest low ball ever. At least they should give us assistance to transition our students instead of swiping them from us and locking us all out. We couldn't even message our students. For those teachers, like me. who were loyal and respectful to Verbling from the beginning, we got hit hardest and lost everything we had built up over the years we were there. They only sent one email warning us ahead of time, maybe 6 weeks before the boot and it went to junk, so one day I was teaching and the next I was left out in the rain.
