Pros
- Relative okay in terms of freedom to set your teaching methodology - For low-caliber and laid-back employees, it is good. No proper review of work. Yearly meager increment to everybody irrespective of performance. - For employees with the skill of buttering, growth potential is very good.
Cons
- Salary sub-par for efficient and performing employees. The same salary & increment are given to NPAs. So, after a time depression and disappointment are guaranteed. - As they say, you are the average of the company you keep. 90% of staff is sub-par caliber, after a time you will become one of them. - Everyday management is busy in useless meetings and creating paper trails without any real impact on the ground. Its peer institutes started at around the same time in the 1990s and are miles ahead in rankings/accolades. - No incentive/motivation to progress. No punishment/action for not meeting set goals.
