Pros
Excellent culture and group of people. A lot of fresh ideas coming in as they recruit, and a generally young and energetic workforce mixed in with some very seasoned older staff. Great place for anyone wanting to start a career in sales, overachieve and move forward. The work life balance is good in that while the hard workers earn more, at least their their choice and under their control. The office is nice and in a good location and the company is usually ready to celebrate with food and drink on a regular basis.
Cons
The inside team is bottom heavy in terms of numbers and roles, so you really need to stand out exceptionally to move up, and it seems the same for inside moving to field. As the company pushes harder to perform globally it will become harder to find opportunity to step up into new roles. However evidence shows that is still possible for the smart, patient, hard worker, and this is often the case for many companies. The problem, is that for some they don't have the choice to be patient long enough on their given salary. Do the right thing + be excellent = opportunity either in or outside of Veeam down the track. Overall It's a great place to work and I would encourage anyone considering a role with Veeam to take the opportunity seriously. Especially if it's your first chance to experience vendor-land.
