Pros

Vantage is a great family of hard-working, kind, and passionate individuals who love each other and are the main reason anyone makes it through a working day. The main reason why most people stay is because of the strong connections made with all the others in the trenches. I learned a lot about the terrible world of customer service, but I also learned a lot about patience and how to deal with thousands of types of personalities.

Cons

The highest level of management is absurdly cruel, sneaky, and undermining, and usually unqualified to deal with business they tackle every day. Lower-level management is overworked and frantic, unable to do much except respond to their boss' demands. Little regard is giving to employee's well being as they deal daily with what is a remarkably stressful and taxing career in the promotional products industry. Employees are overworked to the bone and given very little in terms of compensation or even thanks for their unwavering dedication to a business that treats them terribly. Customers are an assortment of equally overworked and manic sales reps who make unrealistic demands and aren't above using shameful and rude language to get what they want (which is usually free shipping or a discount). The promotional products industry is an endless chain of people trying to please other people for money, and it is completely poisonous. If you want to challenge your mental, emotional, and physical endurance, you should try working for Vantage.

Pros

The role helped me develop adaptability, resourcefulness, and leadership skills. I gained valuable experience in communication, coaching, and managing complex, detail-oriented tasks.

Cons

Some leadership practices were inconsistent, and office politics occasionally affected workflow. Promised training fell short, and performance tracking methods could be more realistic and aligned with actual duties.
