My experience working with Ryan and Vanta was excellent.

I got the chance to work with Dean and Ryan for a few months as they pursued me (starting with a cold LinkedIn email) for a position at a small startup. I had a preconceived notion and stereotype built up in my head that working with anyone who send cold LinkedIn messages would be a slog, but boy was I wrong. I'm so glad I took a chance on Vanta because working with them was really great. I made my intentions known up front and they were able to work with me and the job-seeking company to work out something great for all involved. Having not been intentionally seeking out work, I had a few concerns, and a fairly high bar set, that Dean and Ryan were able to communicate back to the company and ultimately result in something both parties were very happy with. Dean & Ryan both worked super hard, responded to my texts at any/all hours and it was really a joy to work with them. I would absolutely buy them a drink if/when I ever actually *see* them.

They were unable to prevent the global COVID-19 pandemic -- which ultimately resulted in the job opening falling through. I'm joking. It is true that we were unable to close a deal in the end, but I think the circumstances made it understandable. I know they would've helped me close it if there was a chance.
