      There is possibility for lateral moves into new roles

      Cons

      The company can’t grow revenue so it is constantly cutting the workforce or finding ways to save money which don’t hurt revenue but strains the workforce. Too few IT, HR, and other back office support

      Pros

      - Very good learning experience - Knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful people in the office

      Cons

      The Chicago office is a commercial site, so all other interns for the bank sit in either New Jersey, New York, or Florida. Not necessarily a bad thing because it helped form better connections with everyone in the office, but networking with other interns was more difficult.
