Pros
VI is generous with leave, however, you have to be meeting your deadlines in order to be given out this leave. The company must be commended on the training and upskilling it provides to its staff. The pro of working here is that you will walk away with many new skills to add to your CV.
Cons
VI is a very unstable start-up which is a revolving door when it comes to employment. VI doesn't renew contracts but rather keeps on hiring brand new staff and letting experienced staff go. Staff constantly burn out and work overtime to meet unrealistic deadlines. One will not receive any compensation for overtime. VI claims they prioritise mental health this is not the reality. The company has very serious communication issues and is not transparent with staff members. VI is more concerned with its success as a business than its responsibility to produce quality education for students. VI has the highest turnover I have ever seen with many staff resigning after only a few months due to the unrealistic workloads and toxic work environments. Don't fall for the company's false positivity.
