Nice overall but could be so much better - Analyst Vale Employee Review

I've been with the company for almost a year now. I had a horrendous onboarding experience because of my manager's total lack of support which is still prevalent. Maybe I'm just unlucky as the other teams seem more cohesive and their bosses more human. I'm sticking around until finding an opportunity elsewhere. It's a very top-down, political and complex organization going through change, therefore very messy to navigate. There are tons of obsolete and cumbersome processes that make anyone cringe. If you're Brazilian or at least fluent in Portuguese you'll probably get far; otherwise forget it! And beware of HR: only lip service and not your friends.
