Pros
If you are a good culture fit this can be a great opportunity for professional growth, though you will likely be paid at least 10% below market rate with so-so benefits.
Cons
If you find you're not a good culture fit, don't wait to start looking for your next opportunity. There's very little diversity in the company, and people who are different in some regard are pushed out in subtle and not-so-subtle ways. Bullying, passive aggression and other toxic behaviors are commonplace among some senior managers and long-tenured employees. Turnover is like nothing I've experienced before. After years of this same pattern, there's a huge disparity in how new employees are treated compared to the long-tenured MVPs. On the job training is ad-hoc at best, and more commonly non-existent in my experience. Customers are extremely dissatisfied with the guest experience as shown by the dismal reviews on Google, and the stock price has underperformed the wider market by 25% over the past 6 months. All of this together has lead to an overtly demoralizing and dysfunctional corporate culture, and the ongoing exodus of corporate employees is a natural outcome.
