Pros
What I really appreciate is that I'm able to work much less than the standard 35 hours a week and still perform at a high level. Overall, if you're looking for a low-stress job that still allows you to make an impact, I would definitely recommend VTS.
Cons
As an Implementation Manager at VTS (View the Space), I have to say that the company has major issues when it comes to management and transparency. The company appears to focus on acquiring other companies, but they have not put any thought into how they would manage the people they take on. This has led to confusion and frustration among employees, including myself. Additionally, VTS is not truthful about the contracts they have in the pipeline. If they were more transparent about their plans, people would have been able to make informed decisions about their future at the company. Unfortunately, this lack of transparency has resulted in many people investing their time in a place that has no future. Management at VTS does not provide clear direction for the company. The direction of the company is unknown at this time, which is concerning for employees who are seeking job security during a time of widespread layoffs. I recommend that people seeking jobs should look for alternative positions other than those in engineering, which appear to be the only safe positions at VTS.
