Pros
working from home having your own space
Cons
I worked at VRI from May 2023 to August 2024 and found several significant issues worth noting. The lack of a supportive team environment and genuine managerial support made for an isolating experience. Compensation was another major concern; my hourly pay decreased from $17 to $16, and after an annual raise, I only earned $16.31. There are limited growth opportunities, leaving many employees stuck at a salary of $31,000 for years. Management does not engage in call handling but frequently provides suggestions, which often feels disconnected. Weekly meetings intended to motivate often felt overwhelming instead. Additionally, the Life Alert devices provided were frequently used and malfunctioning, leading to frustrated customers and stressful calls for agents. In summary, if you prioritize team cohesion, fair pay, and growth opportunities, I recommend considering other employment options.
