Pays higher than minimum wage, work is in a sheltered warehouse and there is music on for you to listen to while working.

I was told off for being ONE MINUTE late! on the other hand we always finish work 2-4 minutes after the official finish time. The other day I was given a written warning and was forced to sign it. The letter was telling me that I wasn't wearing my safety glasses at the time of inspection by supervisor, while I wear prescription glasses all the time even when I'm not working as I won't be able to see without them but the supervisor didn't listen to me and just made me sign the letter. The prescription glasses were approved by the supervisor as safe to use while working before he gave me that letter by the way. There is not much work/life balance as it is expected from you to work on Saturdays as well most of the time

Convenient if you enjoy early morning work to get it out of the way.

I took the job due to the hours 5am-2:30pm but there is overtime (usually 3:30) literally every day with no exception. The physical labour is very intense, don’t plan on doing anything else physical outside of work ie. gym as it’s not going to happen and you will be sore from standing all day carrying wood and the recoil from the nail guns leaves your hands aching for days. Incredibly high staff turnover, people seem to only be there a few months.
