The company pays well. If you do not have a job at all then it's a good one to start with but do not plan to stay longer than 6 months. I didn't interact with the higher manager so don't know about them. I will talk about my immediate manager in New York office UK visa center.
The work was fine, but the environment was toxic. The manager used to like the people of her color or the people who used to bootlick her. There was uneven distribution of work always. One group of people barely worked in the office so most of the work had to be done by other people. If you complain about workload she used to show attitude. Moreover, she set a hourly target for the task. Some people used to meet 10-20% of the target daily, she didn't say anything to them because they are her favorite ones. She always created pressure, periodically meet with the hardworking employees one on one to create fear, intimidation of losing the job, baseless allegation & reminding that the employee isn't meeting the target (even if the person is the most hardworking in the room). Very much demotivating.
The people who used to bootlick the manager was always busy with gossiping, making cliques, laughing loudly, randomly walking from office room to pantry/ restroom. Some of them used to go for 2 hours of lunch break. The incompetent manager simply overlooked that while creating pressure on other employees and finishing daily task. However, most of my coworkers were helpful. If you complain about racism to HR, they do very little.
You don't expect any appreciation from the manager all. She loved to take all the credits. Total dictatorship. There is immense presence of unprofessionalism.
