Pros

They have an interesting product for transforming streaming data with SQL.

Cons

I wont disparage the company, but I will recommend you think about asking/thinking about these things.... - How much founder sales + engineering assists are needed to get deals done? - What does the internal documentation or communication across teams look like today? Are public Slack channels a practical graveyard with very little cross-collaboration? Are there regular company updates, shared goals, or status updates across teams? What kind of support do remote teams receive? - How has sales been performing recently, especially in the US? Have they been able to hit their numbers? If not, what is their average attainment? - What meaningful features were launched in the last year? What has the adoption of those features been? Did that move the needle for the company? Was it a parity feature or did it create meaningful differentiation with competitors? - What has personnel churn, both "regrettable" and "non-regrettable", been in the last year? Specifically for the team I'm applying to? If you think you can help them, go do it!

Pros

- The team is super sharp and talented, with deep expertise in data and technology. For anyone in these fields, it’s a great opportunity to work alongside people who truly understand the intricacies of these areas. - Being a relatively small company, cross-functional collaboration is easy, and you have the chance to work directly with leadership and key decision-makers. - The environment is fast-paced, but the atmosphere remains positive and supportive. Great people and fun to work with! - Good work-life balance. There’s a lot of flexibility in time management, as long as the job gets done.

Cons

-Due to the small team size, things move quickly, which can be both exciting and challenging. It requires strong time management and adaptability, which may not suit everyone. -In a small company, there are fewer layers of hierarchy, so career progression can be slower or less clearly defined compared to larger organizations. However, as a single contributor, your impact is much more significant.
