We got bought and it ended

UpCity did a good job of accommodating my needs as a freelance writer. I was able to keep my workload manageable, and request more work when time allowed. If I was looking for more information on an assignment, I could ask my editor, who would forward the question to the client. They paid on time and on a regular schedule. Plus, I got to write about a bunch of different topics.

A few times, I was writing a post that, in my mind, should have been written by someone more experienced with the subject matter, as it could have a tangible impact on the reader's life. But when writing these, I would add a line to the beginning along the lines of "This article should serve as a starting point for folks looking to learn more about..." and as far as I saw, that was never removed. Additionally, there were topic areas I requested not to write about at all, and those requests were accepted without issue.
