Pros

- The job is remote - Pay is decent

Cons

Underknown does not care about its employees and is very poorly run. Every month they do mass layoffs of full teams, have a company wide zoom meeting to say everything is steady and then a week later they make a new hire at the C-Suite level and put out a press release about their great new hire. The management here clearly has no idea what they are doing with their money. What sense does it make to layoff 10 people in order to pay one executive? The company is bleeding money as they are relying on old business models when it comes to making money off ads on facebook and snapchat on long-form content. They need to get with modern times before they go out of business. If they continue down the path they are now, the company will close within the next five years. Founders Steve, Raif and Peter will play very nice to your face but if you have concerns they will say everything is fine and then quickly get rid of you in order to save money. If you think you boss has your back, think again as bosses have been known to get on a zoom call with you to say you have been laid off and then hang up instantly and let human resources deal with you. This company has no compassion. I would like to see the upper management be treated the way they treat their employees in order for them to see how they would feel. Another issue is there aren't any health benefits. Be careful for the red flags in your interview and really think twice before taking the job, offer. I wish I did.
