Pros
Great employee discount. Fun environment, co-workers were an enjoyable group to work with. Met some great people and almost always enjoyed my time on the clock.
Cons
Almost no advancement opportunities. Many hardworking associates recognize this after not much time has passed and either quit or find a second job with more potential. I worked after getting my BS in Economics and while working on my MBA and was never given an opportunity to move up to a lower-level management position despite being more educated than any other store employee (management included.) When promotions do occur they seem to come from outside the store and not from within. There seems to be a big gap between the retail side of the company and the corporate side and it is almost impossible to go from one to the other despite being qualified. High turnover.
