Pros

- Very interesting work/projects - There is a lot of flexibility in being able to carry out work in the way you see fit - Lots of opportunity to upskill and take on greater responsibilities - Flexible work arrangements - New company direction and vision is promising - Friendly staff and good atmosphere, lots of knowledge and expertise to learn from - Management generally do listen to staff and their suggestions - Company is growing and doing well in pandemic

Cons

- Company can be quite stingy with capex, there is a general need for investment into IT and other work tools to enable more efficient and productive working - HR department can sometimes be rather unorganised. - Configuration management system and surrounding processes are poor - this is being addressed in the new company transformation but it has been an issue for a very long time which doesn't fill one with hope... - While being light on processes is sometimes a good thing, there is a fine line between being light on process and having a severe lack of them which the company tends to stray a little bit too close to in my opinion - It is difficult to understand how some systems/processes work and little documentation on their proper use - Not a hugely diverse staff, especially when looking at senior management but some progress has been made in the last few years to promote diversity and inclusion

Pros

Benefit package is great, the employees on the production floor are awesome. Weekends off for most.

Cons

Two acquisitions have changed management way over the threshold of what teams can handle. Absolutely everything is done on paper and Excel, very little real time data. Rude leadership without answers to everyday issues makes success very hard to attain. Especially when the target is constantly moving.
