Pros
If you are without much sales experience, this will be a good job to get some training The company is pretty solid and dependable Since there is no commission, the paycheck is dependable and they give little raises and bonuses every year The business is growing pretty fast The health benefits are good Not much work on weekends
Cons
After a couple of years, you get burned out doing the exact same thing over and over again You'll only succeed if you agree with everything you're told and don't plan to come up with any creative ideas on your own The vacation time for the first few years sounds good, but it includes sick time, so it's really about the same as every other company There is a constant stream of criticism and pressure that for experienced sales people is demeaning. People with a lot of talent are either moving on or getting ready to move on. Only the super obedient stay with it. Management does not trust the employees to make good decisions. They secretly listen to phone calls with customers (this is illegal in CA) that makes you wonder why they went through all of the trouble to screen out bad workers
