Cons
The compensation is nothing like it is indicated during hiring process even at expected performance levels. Micromanaged more than any other company I have ever worked for. Absolutley no trust between management and sales. Sales reps are usually pinned against eachother with by pressuring them with job stability and relationships with management. Direct Sales managers have little to no outside sales experience. A manager who may have been successful in a retail enviroment has little probability of success in managing a direct sales team. U.S. Cellular prides itself in the D.O. or Dynamic Organization which is a set of values and behaviors that are to be followed by employees. Upon employement one will find that managers direct, channel, and area will all be the first to break these and find a way to turn them against you.
