Pros
I have amazing job security, a guaranteed paycheck, retirement, and great benefits as well as excellent pay and the Navy provides a wealth of training and skills to all of their members.
Cons
The lifestyle is not always easy, having to deploy away from my family, working long hours and sometimes in rotating shiftwork or standing duty make it difficult to maintain hobbies and interests outside of work
