Pros

Competitive pay and benefits. Ability to collaborate and move within company. Can "climb ladder" with time and proven success and internal interviews. Flexibility to work on your schedule in market as long as you get the job done and appropriately utilize salesforce to document progress and have a plan to succeed. Great culture and open to discuss at roundtables often to express how to be better as a company and better communicate internally. As an AE you will have a better idea of your daily schedule and more professional meetings with chefs and even more C-Suite office meetings. Be organized, professional, responsive, and work hard through the week, and you will have your weekends off. As a Territory Manager (TM) with US Foods... you will work longer hours typically and on Sundays. With the technology of giving the customer online order access... most sales reps (AE or TM) are getting the tedious time back of "taking orders" and now are more responsible to be a true salesperson.

Cons

As an account executive (AE) you are pretty locked in to your agreed annual salary, but as a team you have opportunity to hit your goals to get annual bonus. You may get a small raise each year.

Pros

401k is good Benefits got more affordable

Cons

The biggest con is what must these big companies fail to focus on. Money. If to ask, even if you document measurable results ,that i spent a long time composing. You are told that other mechanics get the same or around the same pay. Then say no. Going the extra mile everyday, doesn't get you anything . Yes it's pay. We start a little better than market. But don't go up from there. Yes not right. Not we cannot get any overtime to make up for the lack of raise . It forces good mechanics out . Also they focus way to much on irrelevant things like dei etc .it should be the work you do not what you look like.
