      the air force paid for my BSEE, MSEE, and PhD EE. If you lift a finger and show aptitude and interest in continuing education, you will be rewarded with many opportunities to advance.

      Cons

      poor work life balance can lead to problems with your family. high stress can cause sickness and lead to low morale.

      Pros

      Getting 2.5days of accrued leave per month is nice, which adds up over time. You can request leave whenever within your schedule and it won't be denied.

      Cons

      Not too much structure when it comes to squadron training. Depends on your squadron but leadership can really determine your experience.
