Pros

Pto is good. Flexible work times and locations

Cons

You have to use their doctors ONLY under your insurance and have to jump many hurdles if they don’t offer the service to get it covered. Micromanaging bosses to the point where you don’t even feel like a capable human. Ever since i left and went to a much higher role elsewhere, i have flourished. Being brought into the office to be talked to about accidentally forgetting to capitalize something in excel is a pathetic joke looking back on it. My boss said numerous racially and sexually charged statements. Would gossip about everyone who worked in or visited the office. Would tell subordinates personal information about their coworkers shared with him in private. Entire team is White and it is very clear why this manager has chosen to keep it that way from his statements behind closed doors. Flat out told us to lie if anyone contacted HR about something we did (no doubt in reference to a situation he found himself in). Union busting is rampant. Future faking with raises and career opportunities. Every “benefit” they talk about like employing veterans or tuition reimbursement comes with the stipulation that you sign a contract to work with them for an extended period of time, which is not the standard at other hospital systems in the area. Chronically understaffed (on purpose) so you will be expected to work nonstop with no breathing room in between tasks. Insultingly under paid. Coworkers often pitted against one another. Do not feel like you can be open about your concerns about the company or you will be handled by upper management.

Pros

Good benefits and generally good leadership

Cons

Typical large healthcare organization. Affordable care act ruined healthcare so its more about making money because it has become more of a business than care.

Pros

No pros. It was a horrible place to work

Cons

If you were night shift, you had to work every holiday. The nurses were so lazy and never helped us. We ran around taking care of patients with no help. Changing them, cleaning up horrible messes, taking them to the bathroom and doing vitals with no help. Nurses would sit there eating while on Facebook, while we did all the work. Some would even be sleeping!
