Pros
Regular incentives and nice bars and restaurants for those prizes
Cons
When I first joined UMATR everything was alright, I was concerned that only the founder and his mate were the remaining people since founding, but they seemed nice so I thought I’d give them a go, the OTE looked good and the team seemed cool. In under 3 months, I realised I’d been sold a dream. The team just terrorise each other all day, and not in an office banter kind of way, like these people really hate each other kind of way. The internal recruiter that was brought in, and then the L&D manager that came in to build the company didn’t last a couple months, and inappropriate sexual discussions of the marketing team and senior staff made me feel awkward and uncomfortable. Then they upped and left for Dubai, leaving us all jobless and them enjoying the sunshine and no tax. There is no diversity within their team and discussions to improve it are laughed at. There isn’t room to grow and if you’re not in the clique you’d be better off working anywhere else. I really would avoid this company at all cost - there are other companies that will prioritise your well-being and actually work in a professional way.
