      Great environment with poor management - Principal Scientist UCB Employee Review

      Pros

      Very interactive and healthy environment with the agility of a biotech and the security of bigger pharma. Employee wellbeing is seriously considered. Salary and benefits in general are good.

      Cons

      Impossible to advance, promotions are handed out to employees who have been with the company for over 20 years. Several managers deliver no value as they delegate their own work to their reports while they literally don't do anything.

      Benefit package is wonderful with no downsides.

      The company has many teams and levels which makes it seem like advancement is unobtainable.
