Pros
The work environment is really exciting. The management actively seeks feedback from the team when setting the annual and quarterly goals. Then give total trust in you to figure out how best to hit those targets. Very fast paced decision making, you are encouraged to fail fast and learn from it, and when you succeed you get a ton of praise and promotion. Some people are really young and already have a ton of influence and options in the company. The company practices radical candor, so the team is always giving feedback and debating. There is a big improv culture there too, so a lot of support and humility in ones work. Culture is overall really fun - the office has a sweet games room and people are always joking and laughing and hanging out together.
Cons
Cash compensation is lower than market. They make up for it by giving the entire company options... but you can't pay rent with options so you're taking a risk. Pretty frugal culture in general - office is pretty 'homey'... meaning the furniture doesnt match and lunches are split with the staff (not free), standing desks are made from ikea side tables, etc. Some people who need the finer things in life will not like this.
