Cons
Zero leadership, micro management, silo operation, "managers" in place that don't have the skills or knowledge and certainly don't know how to manage people. If you are not Thai then your opinion or even facts count less than a Thai persons opinion. You can have meetings and everyone will agree it's the right way forward only for another meeting to be held just amongst the Thai's where a different direction will be agreed upon but won't be communicated to you, instead you will just discover it and then all your communications asking for clarification will be ignored. Ask for engagement survey about what you think of your function which is supposed to be anonymous but then there is a hunt by managers/HR to find out who wrote what. As a foreigner your bonus and salary raise will be less than your Thai colleagues even if your Performance review is much higher than theirs. You will not be offered an explanation as to why your salary or bonus raise is low.
