Pros

TruFusion should be separated from working at the Corporate office vs. at one of the gyms. It's a franchise, so I can only comment on the corporate office in Las Vegas and the gyms in Vegas, not anywhere else. --So, the Pros for working at TruFusion is the free membership to workout. The classes are great. They do a great job of getting in you shape. Although, it'll probably change because they now want to use Les Mills workouts, which completely changes the experience. If that happens you might as well workout at EOS Fitness for $9 a month and take the same classes. --Free snacks in the kitchen

Cons

Here is why you should not work at TruFusion, especially at the corporate office. Let's talk about the culture: --Consistent talking about each other behind everyone's back. Whether you are a current employee or former employee, just know that everyone at the corporate office is talking bad about you in some way behind your back to another employee. --The management team constantly lies to the franchisees about the health of the business. That's more of an ethical con to working at the office. You have to get used to know answering the questions honestly. At the peak, across all gyms, there was only 12,000 members (public knowledge in videos) from the 11 studios. Management flipped out when this number was used in videos. Why? Because it's not good and not what they had been telling franchisees about the health of the business, so again, get comfortable with lies. --Another example of the lies you should get comfortable with. In legal documents says the cost to build a TruFusion franchise is 2 million. Sadly, you can't tell people the truth that it will really cost more like 3 million or 4 million. --Management doesn't know what it is doing. They provide zero direction because they don't know how to run the business themselves. Pretty sure the President is clueless on how to run a business. How about Pay: --Well in the last year, the company missed payroll 3 separate times for the corporate office and employees of corporate studios. It was said to be an “accounting glitch”, but if you know anything about how companies operate payroll, that is bs. It’s simply the company didn’t have the cash to make payroll and had to get money infused into it from the founder before payroll could be met. How about Career Opportunities: --Corporate office staff turns over every 6 months it seems. The company has had 3 different Presidents in the last 2 years. The current President is clueless. Multiple times I have seen her opening or having a glass of wine during the day, but hey, it's five o'clock somewhere, I guess. --Declining revenue for the corporate studios each year in Vegas. No one seems to care about that, but then because of that, less staff is hired at the studios and for less money, leading to poor customer service. At the studios, good luck getting the front desk to look up from their phones to greet guests. Work Environment -- --Mold behind the walls at one of the Vegas gyms owned by corporate. Who knows how long that has been there. Although, we did renovate the studio recently to clear this issue up. --Zero strategy is in place. Zero direction is provided. --Everyone talks poorly about each behind their backs. Doesn't matter if it's a current employee, or former employee, everyone talks bad about each other. But will act like your best friend to your face. --Absolutely zero diversity at the corporate office. It's all white guys and girls. And as I think about it, the gyms that are run by corporate have the same look. Wonder if there is a reason for that?? --If you are a female, prepare yourself from under the radar comments about how you look from the owner. Don't worry they won't be said to your face, just to other staff members and in texts. So, if you like a demeaning work environment, TruFusion fits nicely for you.
