Pros
You can work from home. Previously there were more pros but I things have really gone down hill over the last several months or so.
Cons
High turnover. They are always hiring because they are always losing good employees. Not enough leads to successfully make a paycheck and because they over hired finance advisors they have also limited the amount of leads you can take daily. The base pay is not good at all. It's probably one of the lowest base pays in the industry. There is a lack of training and communication. The program itself is not very thorough and once you're out of training then you are pretty much on your own but if you don't hit the numbers your manager wants you to then prepare to be talked down to and insulted. It is definitely not the positive team atmosphere they sold me in the interview. This brings me to my next issue, poor management at every level. Sales managers are rarely available and do not help. You can expect hours to go by before you can get an answer on anything. Many don't know the job themselves. You are threatened if you don't do what they want you to like give them fake "kuddos" so everyone sees it when it is clearly not deserved. Upper management needs work as well. Lots of promises for new leads and bigger and better things but nothing ever comes through. Upper management is full of people that like to hear themselves talk. Just a bunch of lip service.
